
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The team of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is highly skilled in the specialist care of ill or premature newborn infants or those newborn requiring close care and monitoring. The NICU team has neonatologists, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons and nurses trained in newborn care round the clock.
The NICU provides care of babies born to “high risk” mothers, low birth weight babies, premature babies, sick newborn babies, babies requiring sustained respiratory support and babies requiring Post- operative care.
