Neurology
The Department of Neurology at Mitras Clinic & Nursing Home, is led by Dr N R HALDAR (MD, DM), the senior most Consultant Neurologist in North Bengal. The hospital offers round the clock, comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic neurology services as per internationally accepted evidence based protocols. The team handles regular outpatient neurological problems as well as neurological emergencies like acute ischemic strokes, traumatic and non- traumatic intracranial bleeds, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-infections (meningitis and encephalitis) and status epilepticus.
The department of neurology is supported by well equipped neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) facilities like invasive intra cranial pressure monitoring and Electro Encephalo Gram (EEG), Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) study, EMG, and Evoked potential studies (VEP, BSAER).
This department is supported by Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Laboratory Medicine / Pathology, Radiology & Imaging Services ( MRI, CT & Ultrasonography, Echocardiography) and 24 hour Ambulance Service.
